And Who Exactly Am I?

Well, for starters, that's me above, the rather mild-mannered looking guy balancing precariously on the back of the wild, unbridled stallion. Well, okay... you can use your imagination.

I am also an artist and the author of the collective works on this website. I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and have a degree in fine art from Bellarmine University. I have been drawing and painting for almost as long as I can remember. Aside from my artistic interests, my wife, Trish, and I also ran a reading clinic, The Langsford Learning Center, in Cincinnati for several years. While there I had the enriching experience of helping people of all ages improve their reading and comprehension skills. If you're curious, you can find out more about The Langsford Learning Center by going to: WeTeachReading.com

A new employment opportunity for my wife brought us to Cleveland Heights, Ohio, in 2007, where I decided to pursue an art career on a more full-time basis. I have participated in several group exhibits in the past, but since I have tended to sell much of my work as I've created it, a piece at a time, I haven't actively pursued having a full exhibition of my paintings. However, with the additional time at my disposal, I am looking forward to more opportunities to create and exhibit new work.

If I was to try to describe the central style of my art, I would say that it is a kind of imaginative realism, but you can refer to my artist's statement for a more elaborate description on that, if you wish. Of course, I could continue to elaborate ad infinitum about my many outrageous adventures and notorious deeds spanning the globe, but that information is highly classified.... shucks, I guess you'll just have to look at some pictures instead!
